Mission & Giving GuidelinesInterContinental Hotels Group has a clear mission that guides all our charitable endeavors:
To support global efforts that represent the business goals of InterContinental Hotels Group, and to return a portion of our profits to the communities in which we serve.
Our charitable giving is focused in the following five areas:

- Diversity
- Education
- Environment
- Well-being
|  | | Requests for donations must support one or more of these areas and meet the guidelines shown below.
InterContinental Hotels Group Giving Criteria
|  | - The mission of the non-profit organization must be to serve and enhance communities by providing health and human services, education, arts and culture or community development initiatives.
- All donations/sponsorships must focus on the communities where InterContinental Hotels Group has a presence.
- Charities must be of legal charitable status.
- Donations are to be used for the sole benefit of the eligible institutions and are restricted to the use of the project for which the donation is being made.

Requests which would not be considered would include:
|  | - Non-profit organizations that may constitute a conflict of interest for InterContinental Hotels Group or any of its hotel brands
- Political parties or organizations with political affiliations
- Individuals seeking personal sponsorships
- Federal, state or local government organizations
- Religious organizations, except when the activity being sponsored by a religious organization is sectarian, such as a food kitchen or shelter.
|  | | In-Kind Contributions
The majority of InterContinental Hotels Group properties are franchised. Therefore, in-kind contributions (requests for accommodations) should be directed to the General Managers of the individual hotels.
Requesting a Donation
If your organization meets the guidelines outlined here, and you would like to be considered for support, please submit the following to our Community Affairs Coordinator at the address below:
|  | - Proof of 501 (c) 3 status
- Current Board list
- Written proposal
|  | | If your organization does not meet these guidelines, your proposal is less likely to be favorably considered for support. This in no way reflects a lack of interest or appreciation for your funding needs. However, due to budget limitations and prior commitments, we cannot respond favorably to all worthwhile requests.
